About:
WeatherGraph periodically contacts the US National Weather Service and downloads METAR aviation weather information, databases it, then generates a set of rolling graphs suitable for presentation on a Web page.

Dewpoint would be better than wind/heat index
by vortmax - Aug 1st 2001 19:15:37
As a meteorologist, the better thing to do would be to plot dewpoint
temperature rather than the heat/windchill. I would make heat/windchill a
seperate graph or just have it as a listed item along with the high
low....something like current stress index = ###
Otherwise, I find this to be a very useful program. Great job.

I thought about this, but to be most useful for simply seeing what the
temperature is like outside, Heat Index and Wind Chill are more appropriate
(which was partly why I originally wrote it). It would be different if you
were to use it for meteorilogical analysis.
In version 2.0 of the script, I plan to specifically show dewpoint and/or
relative humidity (as well as some other data), but I haven't decided yet
how to present it. Possibly (but not necessarily) on another graph.
I'd also like to include daily high/low and possibly even forecast/actual
comparisons.
