About:
Spook is a live video distribution server intended
for a streaming Webcam or remote monitoring. The
server uses a modular configuration system for
importing video from live sources, applying
processing on the fly, encoding to one or more
compressed formats, and distributing the feeds
over a network. Spook provides true, high-quality
streaming by producing MPEG4 RTP streams,
available on demand with RTSP. Modules are also
included to provide JPEG stills via HTTP.
