About:
Mrxvt (previously known as materm) is a multi-tab X terminal emulator based on rxvt/aterm. It supports multiple tabs, runtime dynamic tab title, pseudo-transparent backgrounds, user-supplied background images (JPEG, PNG, or XPM), background color tinting, text shadows, NeXT/rxvt/xterm/SGI style scrollbars, XIM, multiple languages (Chinese, Korean, and Japanese) and logging. It is lightweight and fast, and only depends on Xlib.

0.50 is much faster

The speed improvement when using transparant background is certainly
noticeable, even on my older laptop (crappy 1 Ghz Celeron) ! Good
work.
What I didn't care fore however is rxvt now being the default terminal
type.
It caused an extra empty line being printed after each
command.
Changing terminal type back to xterm solved the problem.
Would be nice
to see xterm as default again.
Anyway, keep up the good work, mrxvt is my #1 terminal emulator for X ;)

Correct, it's way faster than 0.4. Too bad 0.4 is still in Debian
unstable. Well, but I compiled 0.5.1 from sources. Great job.
