Getting Hu-Go! and running it
by Micah J. Cowan - Apr 6th 2000 13:21:54
For some reason I couldn't build from the source - there seem to be several
files missing. Get the latest Linux binaries, making sure that you've
installed Allegro. After installing, *make* *sure* to run hu-go to run as
root by using
chown root.root hugo
chmod +s hugo
At least, I can't get it to run without running as root. And so far
I've only run it in console.
One other problem - with the sound configured (sound works *great*!),
the gameplay seems to halt every coupla seconds. This could be that I
don't have enough ram...?
