divx subtitles?
by Mrs. Karen Debbie - Apr 29th 2007 11:09:54
Calling SRT and Vobsub subtitles "DivX subtitles" is a misnomer.
They have nothing to do with the DivX;), Divxlabs or XviD video codecs.
More importantly, the term "DivX subtitles" stands for something
else: an obscure proprietary bitmapped subtitle format by Divxlabs
(Divxnetworks), aka XSUB (fourcc=DXSB), and to my knowledge there are no
tools available to rip or convert from this format to anything else.
