Searching feature

why not implementing a search by string command as the one in xpdf? it
would make gpdf much more useful than it is now (the fact that I can't do
CTRL-F to search for parts of text is the only reason why I still use xpdf
instead of gpdf :-)

I totally agree !
I always says to my co-workers : why did you print this huge documentation
? are you able to grep the paper ?
So it's clear to me that gpdf does nothing for the Amazonian forest
without searching features...

Oh, and one more thing : it's not even possible to select text...
Please note that those remarks are not real critics, only suggestions on
the importance of those features. I do develop opensource softwares myself
and I know it's hard to find enough time for everything...
