About:
ArchView can open archive files online without downloading the whole archive, just like normal Web pages. It is very fast since it just fetches a small portion of the archive file from the server. It supports RAR and ZIP formats, and HTTP, FTP, and file: protocols. It can present XUL or HTML interface.

Thank you for your interest.

The next format that I planed is iso or 7zip. Tar format can easily implement. But I wonder if it's useful. Since most tar ball are also compressed by gzip or bzip2. That make ArchView impossible to get file list without downloading the whole file.

If many users think this feature is really useful, I will do it.
