Well, you were supposed to have saved the confirmation email when you subscribed, but since you apparently didn't, here's what you have to do: Either go to http://lists.freshmeat.net/mailman/listinfo/freshmeat-news (which is also linked at the bottom of every newsletter) and follow the instructions there, or send an email to freshmeat-news-request@lists.freshmeat.net with the words unsubscribe <your password> in the message body.
